The multifunction
SERIES 3600 primary cell test system has been
engineered to meet the growing demands of existing
and upcoming ANSI and IEC test standards. Each
test position: Operates independently of the other
positions; Can be user programmed to run a wide
range of multi step tests, including pulse tests;
Can be user programmed to operate in steps of
fixed current, fixed power, fixed voltage, fixed
resistance; Has a dynamic range of over 25,000
to 1 to meet ANSI and IEC standards of current|power|resistance.
The Series 3600 is supplied as a complete turnkey
system with PC computer and software. Each system
is available from a desktop model to large test
and quality control models with thousands of test
positions. Desktop models are usually available
from stock.
Powered by Maccor's standard battery testing software
and utilizing similar technology as found in Maccor's
high precision Series 4000 laboratory test systems.
The software can be configured to automatically
print a standard primary cell end of test report
or to add key test data to Maccor's
MIMS database. Additionally, custom data handling
interfaces or user interfaces can be purchased.
The Series 3600 has a Phoenix connector interface
with horizontal cell configuration providing a
dense and compact configuration. Each cabinet
(standard 19" rack) can have up to 192 test
positions. The Series 3600 is also available in
a desktop cabinet with 32-test positions.
